The Cocktails for Critters event branding required modernization after seven years without updates, as its growing popularity demanded a more sophisticated visual identity. The design challenge involved creating a contemporary aesthetic that honored the Calgary Humane Society's established brand guidelines while elevating the event's presentation to match its sophisticated theme. The Cocktails for Critters redesign featured a modern serif typeface and richer color palette to elevate sophistication while honoring the Calgary Humane Society's branding. A cohesive wave graphic and whimsical illustrations of formally dressed animals united all materials. This polished visual identity, applied across sponsorship packages and event collateral, contributed to sold-out sponsorship levels and enhanced the event's prestigious reputation.
